Emma McCullough
Emma is mum to three boys who keep her busy. When she isn’t picking up football kits from the floor you’ll find her helping others navigate through life’s challenges.Emma is a qualified, experienced and accredited counsellor (L4 Diploma: Counselling Practice and L5 Diploma: Relationship Counselling.) Emma has been in supervised practice and partnered with several therapeutic organisations in Northern Ireland since 2016, tackling issues that are now front and centre in our society. She is now a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society MNCPS (Accred.) With almost 2000 clinical hours under her belt she has successfully supported individuals of all ages through issues such as self-esteem, anxiety and depression.Emma has a particular passion for relational counselling (L5 Diploma: Relationship Counselling) often this will be supporting married couples.Emma says, “I have lived experience of a successful recovery from a mental health condition; meaning I can relate to those on a deeper level who have or are still experiencing similar issues.”Emma is a person-centred counsellor. This means every individual she supports gets a tailored therapeutic experience that meets specific needs for them and them alone. It also means the counselling journey is built upon a strong relationship between you and Emma as the counsellor.

Is counselling confidential?
Everything we talk about is confidential unless I believe you are at serious risk of physical, emotional or psychological harm to yourself or others. Limitations of confidentiality will be explained during our initial contracting and assessment session.

What is the cost for individual sessions?
For individuals, the initial assessment of 75 minutes costs £55.
Subsequent 50 minute sessions cost £49.A £5 discount per session will be applied if payment is made 48 hours in advance.A £5 discount per session will be applied for sessions of a start time between 10am-4pm on weekdays. Payment can be taken via cash, cheque or bank transfer (please include given reference number on all bank transfers).
What is the cost for couples?
For couples, the initial assessment of 75 minutes costs £60.
Subsequent 50 minute sessions cost £55.
Subsequent 75 minute sessions cost £60.
A £5 discount per session will be applied if payment is made 48 hours in advance.
A £5 discount per session will be applied for sessions of a start time between 10am-4pm on weekdays.
Payment can be taken via cash, cheque or bank transfer (please include given reference number on all bank transfers).
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel a session this can be done by text, phone or email. I will reply within 24 hours.
Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at a rate of £25.
